RideSafe Training and the Alconbury Driving Centre have the only Skidbike in Europe.                                                                            Skidbike is a dynamic training tool allowing us to replicate various levels of grip, thus simulating many adverse road surfaces or weather conditions.

We can vary the level of grip of both the front and/or rear wheels to suit the customer’s ability and training requirements.         From partial to full loss of control the rider can rest assured they are in a safe training environment.

Skidbike allows the rider to explore the causes of skidding, how rider input can increase or reduce the skid risk and most importantly – How to avoid the skid

SkidBike courses are being trialled by the Police and Emergency services. We have delivered training to members of the US forces, RAF and Ford Motor Company employee motorcyclists on regular courses throughout 2017 and 2018 as well as individual members of the public.

Our SkidBike Courses cost £220 for 3 hour tuition one-to-one, £185 per person for two-to-one and £135 per person for three people for a group session.
